How do you build a great architect website?
An architect's website is first and foremost a portfolio: each project is presented with its context, the architectural approach, the materials, the floor areas and quality photography. To stay fast despite heavy images, photos are converted to WebP, resized for each screen and loaded only when they become visible. Projects are sorted by type (residential, commercial, renovation or interior design) and each has its own page, indexable by Google with its location. A contact form asking for the floor area, budget and timeline qualifies enquiries before the first meeting. Aurea Media notably created the website of Portugal Expert Properties, dedicated to luxury residences south of Lisbon. An architect website starts at €1,000 excl. VAT and goes live in about four weeks, depending on the number of projects to lay out.
